Sharon serves as the Accounting Manager/Controller, overseeing a broad range of financial and administrative responsibilities. Her duties include payroll processing, invoice management, preparation of financial statements, and reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts. She also provides the financial data required for Workers’ Compensation audits and health insurance reporting, works with utility and merchant service providers to secure the most competitive rates for the business, and collaborates closely with the CEO and the company’s CPA by preparing quarterly financial documentation and analyzing year-over-year results. In addition, Sharon manages the annual City of Lancaster business license renewal process, which includes coordinating background checks, fingerprinting, and child abuse clearances.

Before joining the company, Sharon spent 38 years with Armstrong Flooring and Armstrong Building Products, serving in a variety of accounting roles. Her career culminated in supporting the Controller, CFO, Legal, and Human Resources departments by developing budgets and reporting on corporate expenses. During her tenure, she was recognized with a General Manager’s Award for Team Excellence and a Manager’s Award for her contributions to the implementation of the SAP software system.

Looking ahead, Sharon plans to enjoy retirement, where she looks forward to spending more time walking, biking, going to the gym, reading, traveling, and enjoying new adventures.
